Procedures and documents required when your car has an accident
(Total Theft)
First: Procedures
- Inform the police immediately after the incident occurred and issue a statement to the police.
- Inform the insurance company Mada of the accident immediately after the occurrence of the accident and within a maximum of 72 hours.
Second: Documents
- An accident notification form that completes all the required data and is signed by the insured.
- An official copy of the police report issued at the time of the accident, extracted from the Public Prosecution office.
- A copy of the driver’s license and car license.
- At least 3 letters addressed to the Anti-Car Theft Department and the Traffic Department to which the insured car belongs, to indicate in writing whether or not the car was found.
- The original valid car license without prohibition of selling or delivery of metal plates (Form 105).
- A data certificate for the car proving the theft of the car.
- A sale contract registered in the real estate registry in the name of Mada Insurance Company for the full value of the compensation check.
- Handing over the car keys. original and backup.
- The original insurance policy.
- The original violation certificate, the date it was issued after the date of the sale contract.
- In the event of a sale ban or validity: we must be provided with a copy of the ban lifting letter (bank validity).
Third: Compensation Settlement
- The check is issued within 10 working days from the delivery of the last document.
